Schnucks' Commitment to Food Safety

Over the years the Schnuck Family has built a reputation within their stores for offering a clean and safe environment for the sale of wholesome, high quality foods. Our Food Safety Team, a major advancement in food safety in the grocery industry, actively promotes safe food handling by conducting audits and continually reinforcing policies and procedures through training and education of associates as well as our consumers.

We recognize, as consumers, you share the responsibility for providing safe and wholesome food for your family and guests. That's why, as part of Schnucks' on-going consumer education program, this website is regularly updated with information including numerous links on food safety and safe food handling methods. Please browse through for information that will help ensure food safety is always at the top of your mind and -- your shopping list.

Our Food Safety Team members are Dianna Pasley and Mary Ann Goris. Dianna Pasley, Schnucks Food Safety Director, has 14 years of public regulatory safety experience, serving her last position as Supervisor of Environmental Services with the Jefferson County Health Department. She is a member of International, National, and Local Health Associations. Mary Ann Goris, Food Safety Specialist, also has previous experience in public health, and came to Schnucks after 5 years with St. Charles County Health and the Environment.
