Lakeside Foods Recalls Schnucks Brand Sliced Pickled Beets

ST. LOUIS - Lakeside Foods, a supplier of Schnuck Markets, Inc., today announced a voluntary recall of Schnucks brand sliced pickled beets in the 16 oz. jar. One particular lot code includes jars that may contain foreign material.

Schnucks and Logli stores are urging customers to check for the following:

UPC: 41318-02060

Code date: EGBB015 003 033 or EGABO45 003 034

The recall was initiated after Schnucks was alerted to the potential problem. There have been no reports of injury from consumption of this product.

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa may return the specified product to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund.
