Lakeside Foods EXPANDS Recall of Schnucks Brand Sliced Pickled Beets

ST. LOUIS - Lakeside Foods, a supplier of Schnuck Markets, Inc., today announced an expanded voluntary recall to include ALL Schnucks brand sliced pickled beets in the 16 oz. Jar.

The initial recall was launched after the company was alerted that a specific lot might have been compromised with a foreign material. This recall was expanded after a subsequent inquiry raised concerns that an additional lot code could potentially contain glass.

Schnucks and Logli stores are urging customers to check for the following:

There have been no reports of injury from consumption of this product.

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa may return the specified product to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund.
