Perrigo Recalls Topcare Extra Strength Pain Reliever in 500mg Caplets

This product is carried at Schnucks and Logli stores

ST. LOUIS - Perrigo Company of Allegan, Mich. has recalled Topcare Extra Strength Acetaminophen Pain Reliever 500mg CAPLETS. This recall includes all lots and expiration dates of 50 ct. and 100ct bottles.

In accordance with the recall, this product has been removed from shelves at all Schnucks and Logli stores in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa.

The recall was initiated when Perrigo's quality control systems noted trace amounts of metal fragments in a small number of these caplet products. The health risk to consumers is remote and there have been no reports of injuries or illness related to this issue.

This recall affects 500 mg CAPLETS ONLY. No other products are affected.

Schnucks and Logli customers may return the specified product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
