Birds Eye Foods Recalls Frozen Cooked Winter Squash Due To Potential Contamination

This product is carried at Schnucks and Logli stores

ST. LOUIS - Birds Eye Foods, or Rochester, N.Y., is recalling 12-ounce cartons of Cooked Winter Squash because some of the product was tainted with ammonia.

The recall was initiated after Birds Eye received consumer complaints about the squash. The presence of ammonia may cause headache, nausea, vomiting and irritation of the throat.

Consumers are urged to check their freezers for Birds Eye Cooked Winter Squash with UPC: 14500-00516

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa may return the specified product to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund.
