Nutramax Recalls Topcare Calcium Chews Because of Potential Unlabeled Allergen

ST. LOUIS - Nutramax has initiated a product recall of one specific lot of Topcare Chocolate Calcium Chews in the 60-ct. package. Nutramax took this precaution due to improper labeling of an ingredient in this product - Lecithin; this ingredient in not indicated on the label as "Soy Lechthin" - a potential allergen. The health risk is not known at this time.

Customers are urged to check for the following product:

Expiration Date: 09/02/2008

This recall relates only to aforementioned product with specific lot number and expiration date. No other products are affected.

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi may return the specified product to their nearest Schnucks or Logli for a full refund or exchange.
