Belleville West Schnucks Recalls Hot Rotisserie Chickens Sold Today, June 6

Product may contain small pieces of glass

BELLEVILLE, Ill. - Schnuck Markets, Inc. has issued a recall on Hot Rotisserie Chickens sold today, June 6, at its Belleville West store at 5720 North Belt West between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

A store associate discovered a rotisserie oven light bulb had shattered. All chickens were removed and discarded, and the oven was cleaned.

Schnucks officials have determined that approximately 15 hot rotisserie chickens were sold during that time. The recall is being issued because there is a chance that those chickens may have been exposed to the glass.

There have been no reports of injury or illness.
