Gerber Recalls Organic Cereals Due To A Potential Choking Hazard

ST. LOUIS - Gerber Products Company, a division of Novartis Consumer Health, is recalling all packages of Gerber Organic Rice and Organic Oatmeal Cereals. A limited number of products may contain lumps of cereal which do not dissolve in water or milk and pose a potential choking hazard. Gerber has received complaints but no reports of injury. No other Gerber products are affected in this voluntary recall.

Customers are urged to check for the following recalled products:

Gerber Organic Rice Cereal 8 ounces UPC: 01500012504

Gerber Organic Oatmeal Cereal 8 ounces UPC: 01500012502

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi may return the specified products to their nearest store for a full refund.
