No illnesses have been
reported, and there have been no toxins found in cans tested to date. However, it has been determined that a
specific batch of the product may have been undercooked and could potentially
be contaminated with harmful organisms including the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
Schnucks and Logli stores are urging customers

Botulism can result in
serious illness or death. Symptoms can occur as early as six hours
or as late as 10 days after eating contaminated food. Those symptoms include double vision, blurred
vision, drooping eyelids, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing, dry mouth, and
muscle weakness.
