Schnucks Recalls Smokehouse Turkey Wings

Only product with sell-by date of Aug. 24, 2007 is affected

ST. LOUIS – Schnuck Markets, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of Schnucks Smokehouse Turkey Wings sold in the stores’ meat departments. This recall includes only product with a sell-by date of Aug. 24, 2007.

A Schnucks quality inspection led to a determination that the product may not have been cooked to the proper temperature. Consumption of undercooked product can lead to a foodborn illness.

There have been no complaints or reports of illness. No other products are affected by this recall.

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi are encouraged to return the product to their nearest store for a full refund or exchange.
