Specialty Foods Group Issues Allergen Alert On Braunschweiger

Product was sold at four Rockford-area Logli stores

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Specialty Foods Group of Owensboro, Ky. is recalling Braunschweiger liver sausage products because they may contain non fat dry milk - a known allergen - which is not declared on the label.

Rockford-area Logli customers are urged to check for the product with "EST. 7467" inside the USDA mark of inspection and a sell-by code of Jan 26 08 or before.

The problem was discovered by Specialty Foods Group, and there have been no reports of illness due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a physician.

Logli customers may return the specified product to their nearest store for a full refund or exchange.
