Cedarlane Natural Foods Issues Allergy Alert On Low Fat Bean Rice And Cheese Style Burrito

Product may contain an undeclared milk protein

ST. LOUIS – Cedarlane Natural Foods of Carson, Calif. is issuing an allergy alert on Cedarlane Low Fat Bean Rice & Cheese style burritos because the product may contain casein – a milk protein and known allergen not declared on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Customers are urged to check for the six-ounce product with UPC: 03879434777 and code dates 062808A (June 28, 2008) through 082908A (Aug. 29, 2008).

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi may return the specified product to their nearest store for a full refund or exchange.
