Nestle USA Recalls Two Brands of Hot Pockets

 

            In order to maintain the highest quality standards, Nestle USA has initiated a recall of two brands of Hot Pocket products because the company has been notified that it was affected by the Feb. 17 Westland/Hallmark meat packing recall.

            Nestle has isolated the use of the affected beef as an ingredient in only these two products.  There have been no illnesses reported from the meat.  The USDA notes that this is a Class II recall and there is a remote possibility of adverse health effects.

            Customers are urged to check for the following products:

            Customers may return the specified products to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund or exchange.
