Mohawk Packing Company has initiated a recall of John Morrell Beef Bacon (cured beef plates) because the company has been notified that it was affected by the Feb. 17 Westland/Hallmark meat packing recall. The USDA notes that this is a Class II recall and there is a remote possibility of adverse health effects.
Customers
are urged to check for the product in the 12-ounce
package with UPC: 70100-06065
and establishment number “EST 1152.”
Customers may return the specified products to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund or exchange.
