Hampton Village Schnucks Customers Can Now Have Prescriptions

Filled While They Shop

ST. LOUIS -- Discounts, free delivery and free blood pressure screenings are among the ways customers will be able to celebrate wellness at the Tuesday, July 16 grand opening of the Schnucks Pharmacy at 60 Hampton Village Plaza.

According to Curtis Hartin, director of pharmacy, the in-store pharmacy was the one convenience lacking in the otherwise full-service store. "Until recently, lease restriction prohibited Schnucks from competing with an existing business across the parking lot." Last fall, Walgreens' exclusivity clause expired, allowing Schnucks to expand its services.

Hartin says that for a limited time the new pharmacy will offer a coupon redeemable for a $10 Schnucks Gift Card and a free pharmacy delivery with any new or transferred prescription. The gift card can be used to purchase items in any department.

Store Manager Jerry Lueders said, "We've assembled an experienced pharmacy team and they are anxious to show customers that we care about them and their families. The best way to do that is through providing the highest level of customer service possible along with education and information on issues affecting health and wellness."

The pharmacy will offer a full range of brand names along with generic alternatives to help customers save money. Customers will also have access to a 24-hour automated refill service and detailed information with every prescription.

The Schnucks Pharmacy at Hampton Village will be open from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday. Pharmacy Manager Ken Simpson R. Ph., or any member of his team can be reached at (314) 832-7700.
