ST. LOUIS - Schnucks Senior Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising Randy Wedel announced today that customers affected by the Local 655 work stoppage can shop online once again. At Schnucks' Express Connection, customers can have groceries delivered right to their doors.
According to Wedel, the home shopping service was temporarily suspended during the Local 655 job action. "For the past 14 days, our focus was on keeping the stores running; however, like many of our in-store services, Express Connection is back in business," Wedel said.
As an added bonus and for a limited time, home shoppers in the St. Louis Metro area will receive FREE DELIVERY with any grocery order of $75 or more. Wedel explained, "We cannot predict how long this work stoppage will last so it's important that we do all we can to ensure our customers are not further inconvenienced." Wedel promised same day service for all orders placed by 11 a.m. For more details, check www.schnucks.com.
