Schwan Announces Recall of Pagoda Egg Roll Containing Foreign Material

ST. LOUIS - The Schwan Food Company today announced a voluntary, Class 1 recall of two varieties of Pagoda Egg Rolls ("pork & shrimp" and "chicken"), which may contain foreign material.

Schnucks and Logli stores are among those retailers that carry this product and are urging customers to check their freezers for the following:

Code Dates: 384314 & 384315 Code Date: 384315

Each package also displays the establishment number "EST. 5630" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The problem was discovered after Schwan received customer complaints. The Food Safety and Inspection Service has received no reports of injury from consumption of these products.

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Tennessee may return the specified product to their nearest Schnucks or Logli store for a full refund.
