New instaClinic To Open At Butler Hill Schnucks
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
This is the third of four in-store clinics in the initial rollout
Patricia Sohn, nurse practitioner and president of instaClinic, said, "Over the past few months, clinics at Mid-Rivers and Alton Schnucks locations have delivered hundreds of flu shots that have led to follow-up visits from patients who appreciate the one-on-one service, convenience and affordability of instaClinic. People are pleased that there is now a way to get treatment for minor ailments when their primary provider's office is closed." Sohn and her team are encouraging Butler Hill area employers to stop in at Schnucks to find out how the comprehensive services of instaClinic can help their employees supplement healthcare options and decrease healthcare costs.
Because of the strong community response, there is still a need for nurse practitioners.
The nurse practitioners of instaClinic provide diagnosis, treatment and write prescriptions when necessary for common illnesses. A focus is placed on wellness and prevention through immunizations and health screenings. To ensure continuity of care, the experienced professionals of instaClinic work closely with the local medical community referring patients for further care when needed.
Nurse practitioners interested in a full-time or part-time position with instaClinic should call 314-238-1337 or, stop by on Saturday and meet collaborating physician Dr. Carolyn Rudnick of SLU Care and nurse practitioners Pat Jentsch, Christine Ellis and Linda Trevathan.
Plans are now underway for the next instaClinic at the newly remodeled Lindell Schnucks store. Several more clinics are planned across the region over the next two years.
