Schnucks-Logli eScrip Card To Benefit Local Non-Profit Organizations!

Rockford, Ill.Schnuck Markets, Inc. and its Logli stores have launched the new Schnucks-Logli eScrip Community Card, a card that puts the fun back in fundraising, in the Rockford, Ill. and Janesville, Wis. area!

Customers just present the eScrip Community Card at the checkout, and Logli will give a percentage of the total grocery bill to the consumer's designated organization (school, church or non-profit youth group).  Customers simply earn money on goods they would normally buy at Logli.

Since the eScrip Community Card is not a gift card, there is no money required up front.  It's not a typical loyalty card because you don't need to use the card to save on Logli’s already low prices.

According to Larry Maggio, Schnuck Markets director of marketing, each cardholder can earn funds for his or her favorite organizations during their routine trip to the grocery store. “The meter starts and ends each month. Our customers earn one percent for the first $300 in sales, two percent on the next $301-$600 and three percent on sales between $601-$999,Maggio says.

Joanne Remillard, eScrip executive vice president, explains, “Local schools we've talked to are excited about the possibilities this card holds.  It's convenient, easier to use than similar programs, and once you register, the program requires no maintenance.” She added, “It's a perfect way for families to help their children's schools earn money for computers, supplies, desks, textbooks or team uniforms.”

School, church or non-profit youth groups can direct their members to pick up a card at any Logli customer service counter.  Customers then call 800-931-6258 to sign up and designate up to three different organizations as beneficiaries. Organizations will receive their funds monthly, making it an on-going, year-round fundraiser.

The eScrip website ( provides promotional material for organizations and information for participating families and also allows cardholders and organizations to track their earnings.

The Schnucks-Logli eScrip Community Card is open to any non-profit organization and is not just for schools.  “Logli is a strong community partner and we are excited about the opportunities presented through this program.  We’re doing this to thank our customers for their loyalty and patronage,” said Maggio.
