Allergen Alert Issued on Heartland Granola Pie Shells

ST. LOUIS - Schnuck Markets, Inc. has issued an allergen alert on Heartland Granola Pie Shells because the product may contain undeclared almonds, milk and coconut - known allergens. Those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds, milk or coconut run the risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Customers are urged to check for the six-ounce pie shell with UPC: 02430009030 and code dates of "Best By Oct. 27, 2008-1" or "Best By Oct. 27, 2008-3."

Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi may return the affected product to their nearest store for a full refund or exchange.
