Sara Lee Fresh Bakery And Schnucks Team Up
To Bring Joy To The Classroom

classrooms to receive new desktop computers through in-store sweepstakes
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (Jan. 7, 2008) -
Sara LeeŽ Fresh Bakery, the maker of
the number one selling brand of fresh bakery products in the country, is partnering
with Schnucks to give
families in the St. Louis metropolitan area the
chance to ring in the New Year with new computers for their schools. Starting today and running through April 6,
2008, area families can register to win a free desktop computer for their
classroom of choice at participating local Schnucks stores.
"We are excited
to partner with Sara Lee to support
area schools with their technology needs," said Kevin McFadden, category manager for Schnucks Bakery. "The `Computer for Kids' promotion is a great
opportunity for us to help families help their schools, and we encourage all
parents, students and teachers to take advantage of this offer."
Registration forms can be found on Sara Lee Soft & Smooth Bread displays in
66 Schnucks stores throughout the St. Louis
metropolitan area, Columbia, Mo.
and Jefferson City, Mo. Registration
is not limited, and anyone is eligible to submit an entry for the school of
their choice. The contest will run from
Jan. 7 thru April 6, 2008, and a random drawing for winners will occur shortly
thereafter for each participating Schnucks location. One winner will be drawn per store resulting
in a total giveaway of 66 desktop computers or cash equivalent to the schools.
