Schnucks Announces Sangamon Store On-Site Refund Process Will Change Saturday, Aug. 13
Requests will now be processed by mail
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Schnucks leaders today announced that after 10 days and more than 2,700 Sangamon customers served, the store-based refund team at the Montvale location will disband on Sat., Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. and the process will be picked up by the Schnucks Consumer Affairs team out of St. Louis.
Through Saturday, customers can continue to visit the Montvale store with receipt or method of payment between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. to receive their refunds.
Schnucks Asset Protection Supervisor Dana Bush said, “Over the past ten days, customer response to the replacement offer has been brisk at times, but the requests seem to be tapering off now. The vast majority of those served have gone home very satisfied that we are doing our best to serve their needs. They’ve been very gracious.”
After this Saturday at 8 p.m., customers seeking gift cards for the replacement of goods purchased at the Sangamon store between July 5 and July 28 may apply for gift cards in person at the Montvale location and should bring the appropriate receipt or method of payment. Requests will be forwarded to the Schnucks Consumer Affairs department for tracking and processing. Gift cards will be issued by mail.
