Rockton Avenue Logli Recalls Certain Donuts Sold Today, Sept. 19

            ROCKFORD, Ill. – Management of the Logli Supermarket located at 3150 N. Rockton Ave. has issued a precautionary recall on three (3) sugar or cinnamon sugar donuts sold between 6 and 7 a.m. this morning, Friday, Sept. 19. 

There is a chance that the sugar on top of the donuts may have been exposed to the glass from a light bulb that shattered overnight.   A store associate discovered the problem.  This prompted the removal of donuts topped with sugar during that one hour time period.   There have been no reports of injury or illness.

            Again, Logli officials have determined that the recall is limited to three donuts sold before the problem was discovered. 

            This is an isolated incident and no other stores are involved in this recall.  Customers with questions should call the Logli Consumer Affairs department at 1-800-264-4400.
