Resers Recalls Products Due to Possible Health Risk
Products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes
Reser’s Fine Foods of Beaverton, Ore. is recalling a number of ready-to-eat products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria is an organism which can cause serious and sometime fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and individuals with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may suffer only short term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Schnucks customers are urged to check for the following products:
